Senior Resources
Wellness is Lifelong
At Wilmington Coalition, we believe wellness is lifelong. Our senior community members are valued leaders, neighbors, caregivers and friends, and your health, connection, and quality of life matter.
This page is designed to serve as a central hub for resources, information, and opportunities specifically for older adults in our community.
Staying Connected & Engaged
Social connection plays a powerful role in physical and mental wellness. We encourage seniors to stay involved through community events, volunteer opportunities, local programs, and peer groups.
Isolation can impact health but connection builds strength. If you or someone you love is feeling disconnected, know that support is available.
Support & Resources
Many older adults take prescription medications to manage their health. When medications are no longer needed, expired, changed, or unused, keeping them in the home can increase the risk of accidental misuse, confusion, or diversion.
To help keep our community safe, Wilmington Coalition provides Deterra® Drug Deactivation Pouches to seniors and caregivers.
